Our current trash desposal vendor is Waste Management. The Basalt office can be reached at (855) 852-7110.

Each owner will have the base 32 gallon trash service paid for by the association and have the ability to upgrade to a larger capacity trash service upon request. The Recycle tote will remain a 96 gallon service to comply with the wishes of Pitkin County to have residents recycle more to reduce our contribution to the landfill.

Size Costs:

• 32 Gallon Trash – Paid for by the HOA
• 64 Gallon Trash – An upgrade charge of $42.96 will be assessed and added to your quarterly invoice.
• 96 Gallon Trash – An upgrade charge of $85.92 will be assessed and added to your quarterly invoice.
• Valet Service: If you have driveway pickup you will continue to pay WM directly. Their current pricing for this service is $30 a month.

Important: If after your initial choice, you decide you want to change the size of your garbage tote, you Must NOT go directly to WM for this change. Please let the board know of your decision to change because this is a HOA billing matter not WM billing.
